Anthropic launches Claude Design following Opus 4.7 model upgrade

Anthropic launched Claude Design, a Mac research preview.

Powered by Opus 4.7, it builds team design systems and prototypes from codebases, design files, prompts, and uploaded documents.

The app includes collaboration and export features, with handoff to Claude Code for downstream development.

The launch expands Anthropic’s Mac software lineup and adds a new AI tool for automating design-system setup.
