Roku and TCL are facing a federal lawsuit over Roku OS updates that allegedly broke certain smart TVs.

The complaint says affected TVs froze, entered reboot loops, showed black screens, or failed to power on after firmware updates.

Models cited include Roku Select and Plus Series TVs and several TCL 3-, 4-, 5-, and 6-series sets.
