Microsoft’s Japanese input app “Copilot Keyboard” goes official: “Welcome back, Kyle”

Microsoft has released the stable version of Copilot Keyboard, a free Japanese IME exclusive to Windows 11.

After about six months in beta, it adds a user dictionary, key customization, kana input, reconversion, and stability improvements.

It also includes Copilot Search integration and the character Kyle to enhance AI-assisted typing and search.
