Gemini can now generate PDFs, Word, and Excel files so you don't have to

Google says Gemini can now generate and download files directly in chat, including PDF, DOCX, XLSX, CSV, TXT, RTF, Markdown, Docs, Sheets, and Slides.

The rollout starts today, making it easier to turn a conversation into a shareable document or spreadsheet without manual copy-pasting.

PowerPoint export is not directly supported yet, but common Google and Microsoft file types are now covered.
