Block has launched Buzz, an open-source workplace chat platform designed for human-AI collaboration.

Built on Nostr, Buzz works like Slack but gives AI agents their own identities, permissions, and conversation histories.

It supports multiple model providers, can be self-hosted, and is released under the Apache 2.0 license.

Block is positioning Buzz as an open alternative to closed chat and AI platforms by treating agents as first-class coworkers.
