Spotify’s new ‘User Notes’ lets you add personal captions to playlist tracks

Spotify has introduced User Notes, letting users add up to 240 characters of text to individual songs in playlists.

The notes are visible to anyone who can access the playlist, making them public to viewers of those playlists.

Rollout is limited to select markets and is available to free and Premium users aged 16 and older.

The feature adds social context and personalization to music sharing, while also raising privacy and presentation considerations.
