RHEL 10.2: post-quantum, AI, and Long-Life Add-on

Red Hat previewed RHEL 10.2 and 9.8 with NIST-approved post-quantum cryptography to harden enterprise Linux against future quantum-era threats.

The release also adds tech previews for sealed images and MCP-based AI management, plus improved CrowdStrike malware detection and a more automated upgrade flow.

Red Hat is launching Satellite 6.19 and an annual RHEL Long-Life Add-On to extend supported maintenance beyond normal lifecycle limits.

The update is aimed at regulated and mission-critical environments that need stronger security, more automation, and longer support windows.
