Galaxy S26 battery tests show Qualcomm trim doing far better than Samsung’s own chip

A YouTube channel ran side-by-side battery tests on two Galaxy S26 units that differed only by chip.

The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 model lasted 9 hours 26 minutes while the Exynos 2600 model lasted 6 hours 48 minutes.

Exynos 2600 showed higher peak power draw (~30W) and overheated during video encoding, which reduced its runtime.
