WhatsApp Users Can Soon Have Private Conversations With Meta AI

Meta is adding Incognito Chat with Meta AI to WhatsApp and the Meta AI app.

The feature uses Private Processing so chats are not saved and are not used to train models.

A separate Side Chat feature is also coming, with rollout expected over the next few months.

The move follows backlash over Meta AI on Threads and is meant to reassure users about privacy.
