NanoFab Center and OAQ sign quantum sensor MOU with Daejeon City

Nano Convergence Technology Institute, OAQ, and Daejeon City signed an MOU to foster the quantum sensor industry and build a regional quantum materials, parts, and equipment hub.

The three parties will cooperate on joint R&D, performance testing and validation, commercialization, supply-chain collaboration, and local investment support.

NCTI will provide MEMS atomic vapor cell fabrication processes and infrastructure, while OAQ will contribute quantum sensing technology and product development capabilities.

The deal is expected to speed up quantum sensor deployment in defense, space, bio, and industrial safety, while strengthening Daejeon’s industrial base.
