Samsung’s new Exynos 1680 promises better AI and graphics performance for mid-range phones

Samsung announced the new mid-range Exynos 1680 chipset.

Exynos 1680 GPU includes, an upgraded Samsung Xclipse 550 GPU.

Xclipse 550 GPU adds components and claims a performance increase two additional Render Blocks and two Work Group Processors, with a claimed 16% performance boost over Xclipse 540.

Exynos 1680 NPU features a new 8K MAC NPU delivering up to 19.6 TOPS performance.

Memory and storage supports, lPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
