Google's I/O announcements: new models, a cloud agent that never sleeps, and a redesigned Gemini app

Google unveiled Gemini 3.5 Flash, a faster and cheaper model built for agentic tasks, alongside Gemini Omni and Gemini Spark.

Gemini Omni is the company’s new multimodal model, while Gemini Spark is an always-on cloud-based personal agent.

Google also redesigned the Gemini app, adding Daily Brief and Workspace integration, plus other consumer-facing upgrades.

The company introduced new Ultra pricing, underscoring a push to make Gemini more competitive across consumer and enterprise use.
