WCAG: Making the internet more accessible

Centro Labs said it updated LocalMate to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA accessibility standards.

The work included improving color contrast, enabling 400% zoom without horizontal scrolling, and fixing ARIA labeling issues.

These changes make the app easier to use for people with disabilities as well as users facing temporary constraints.

They also align the product more closely with its mission and broader accessibility expectations.
