Anthropic files for IPO, joining OpenAI and SpaceX in the race to go public

Anthropic has confidentially filed a draft registration statement with the U.S. SEC for a planned IPO.

The company did not disclose share count or pricing, and the filing comes after a $65 billion funding round valuing it at $965 billion.

The move puts Anthropic among the leading AI firms testing public-market appetite for major AI listings.

If it goes public, investors could get a clearer view of frontier AI economics, including revenue, losses, margins, and heavy compute costs.
