Gemini for Home expands: Google opens access to carriers and hardware makers

Google is expanding Gemini for Home to third-party hardware makers and service providers.

A new Gemini built-in program will let consumer smart-home devices use Google’s AI and camera tools.

Home Premium is also being integrated with carriers, ISPs, and security companies.

AT&T is already using Home APIs and Gemini in its Connect Life app.

The move pushes Google’s smart-home AI platform beyond its own devices and services.
