Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World Announced for Switch 1 & 2

Square Enix announced Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World at Dragon Quest’s 40th anniversary showcase.

The next spin-off in the series is coming to both Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, with a brief teaser showing a few monsters and two protagonists.

No release date was revealed, but Square Enix said it will launch before Dragon Quest XII.

The announcement underscores continued support for the Dragon Quest franchise while development on Dragon Quest XII has restarted.
