Apple CEO Cook to step down in September and become chairman; successor to be John Ternus

Apple has named Tim Cook chairman and appointed John Ternus as the next CEO, effective September 1.

Johny Srouji will take on the CHO role, alongside a broader reorganization of the hardware engineering team.
