Google Drive's scanner just got smart enough to handle your messy document pile

Google Drive on Android is rolling out a smarter document scanner.

New features include Smart Batch Scanning, Duplicate Detection, and Auto-Best Frame cleanup.

The scanner now processes locally on-device and can work offline as the update leaves beta.
