Budget mobile industry welcomes government revitalization measures…"We will respond with innovation and investment"

The Korea MVNO Association welcomed the Ministry of Science and ICT's "MVNO 2.0" initiative.

It said lower wholesale fees, free QoS, and better support for unlocked devices and eSIM will strengthen price competitiveness and consumer benefits.

The group also said formalizing partial MVNOs and full MVNOs would broaden market entry and service differentiation.

The industry expects the policy to reduce mobile bills while encouraging investment and market growth.
