Autonomous Alfie: New humanoid robot for complex industrial tasks unveiled

RobCo unveiled Autonomous Alfie at Hannover Messe, a humanoid industrial robot built for complex factory work.

It is designed to handle variable tasks such as kitting, palletizing, and precision assembly with touch-sensitive handling.

The system uses Physical AI, bimanual manipulation, and a Robotics-as-a-Service model, with Level 4 autonomy in view.

Autonomous Alfie is in final development, with first customer deployments expected later this year.

The launch comes after RobCo’s recent $100 million Series C round and as the company plans to expand in the U.S.
