Neil Druckmann has hinted that The Last of Us Part 3 is likely to happen.

The Last of Us Part 2 ends with multiple unresolved threads, including Abby and Lev’s destination and the Fireflies’ status.

Part 3 would need to address Ellie’s psychological trauma, her relationship with Dina, and the WLF–Scars conflict depending on its setting.
