Samsung Galaxy S23's next big One UI update enters beta testing

Samsung has expanded the One UI 8.5 beta program to the Galaxy S23 and select mid-range devices.

The first Galaxy S23 beta is now live in India and South Korea.

The S23 beta build is ZD5, weighs 4.16GB, and includes the April 2026 security patch.

Samsung also extended the beta to the Galaxy A36 in India, with ZD2 at 2.5GB and the same patch.

The Galaxy S25 is on its ninth beta, while the S24 and S25 FE are on their second in Korea.
