Google has launched the full version of its AI ransomware detection and recovery feature for Google Drive.

The desktop app for Windows and macOS can spot infections in real time, pause syncing, and restore files to a safe point from backup.

Google says the latest AI model is 14 times better at detecting ransomware than the beta version.
