Intel says it is collaborating with Elon Musk’s TeraFab on a broad effort to rethink chip manufacturing.

TeraFab is expected to use Intel’s upcoming 14A process, with a focus on better efficiency and economics.

The partnership could give Intel an important early customer for 14A and strengthen its foundry business.
