Amazon Accused Of Poaching HBO Employees In Warner Bros. Lawsuit

Warner Bros. Discovery has sued Amazon, alleging it poached contracted HBO and Warner Bros. employees before their agreements expired.

The company says Amazon knew about the contracts, offered higher pay, and interfered with employment deals involving staff including former HBO Max marketing executive Pia Barlow.

The lawsuit claims intentional interference and unfair competition, and could test how far media and tech companies can go in recruiting contracted talent.
