Microsoft unveils 'Scout,' a personal AI agent based on OpenClo

Microsoft launched Scout, a customizable AI agent for Microsoft 365, at its Build conference.

Built on OpenClaw, Scout can remember preferences, stay active, and help across desktop and web.

The agent is aimed at tasks like calendar management and meeting preparation.

Microsoft emphasized policy checks and audit logs for enterprise use, and will offer Scout via the Frontier program to GitHub Copilot subscribers.

The company also announced Project Solara, Copilot updates, and new reasoning models.
