Mortal Kombat 1 Still Has Some Fight As It Reveals New Sales Milestone

NetherRealm Studios said this week Mortal Kombat 1 has surpassed eight million units since its September 2023 launch.

The total includes all platforms and the Definitive Edition released last May.

EventHubs reports this represents roughly 1.8 million additional units in under eight months since the prior sales update.

Mortal Kombat 1 has now outsold Street Fighter 6, which has shifted over six million copies to date.

MK1 still trails Mortal Kombat 11 (15 million in 2022); NetherRealm confirmed last May it is shifting to its next project and will not add more DLC characters or story chapters.
