Apple discontinues base Mac mini, now starts at $799 with 512GB storage

Apple has removed the $599 256GB Mac mini from its store, leaving the $799 512GB model as the new starting point.

That effectively raises the entry price for buyers of the M4 Mac mini.

Other Mac mini configurations are also showing backorders or unavailable listings.
