Kakao’s wage talks ended without an agreement, and labor mediation was suspended, raising the prospect of a June strike.

CEO Jung Shin-a apologized to employees and unveiled an organization overhaul centered on KakaoTalk and business units.

The company will integrate design teams and set up a new ‘User First’ task force to strengthen user communication.

Hong Min-taek, who oversaw the product organization, is expected to leave early next month.
