How Abu Dhabi Quietly Bought A Stake In $90 Billion VC Insight Partners

Forbes reporting shows Abu Dhabi’s government holds a passive minority stake in Insight Partners via Lunate.

The ownership stake has existed since January 2025 and was disclosed in a December lawsuit by former VP Kate Lowry.

Insight manages over $90 billion and has participated in major deals including OpenAI’s $122 billion round.

The stake was described by a source as low single digits and Insight declined to comment.
