Samsung brings long-overdue Google Cast support to older TVs

Samsung has started rolling out Google Cast support to select 2023 and 2024 TVs via a One UI Tizen update.

A Reddit user reported an S90D OLED receiving the update that includes Google Cast.

Android devices and the Chrome browser can now cast media to compatible Samsung TVs, replacing Galaxy-only Smart View limitations.

Samsung did not provide a full schedule; wider availability is expected in the coming weeks or months.
