OpenAI Acquires Media Company TBPN to Build Conversational Spaces for the AI Era

OpenAI announced on April 2 that it acquired US media company TBPN and did not disclose deal terms.

TBPN runs weekday live tech and business shows and began activity at the end of 2024.

OpenAI said TBPN will join its strategy division under Chris Luhein and that TBPN's editorial independence is protected.

TBPN confirmed the acquisition on its YouTube live stream and pledged to continue its daily three-hour broadcasts.
