Google Home’s latest update makes Gemini better at understanding your commands

Google rolled out an update to the Home app that improves Gemini’s smart-home command handling.

Gemini can now map descriptive lighting prompts to colors and accept precise appliance and climate instructions.

The update improves device identification, adds supervised-child access to Gemini for Home, and enhances Gemini Live news summaries.

Google says these features are rolling out now to smart displays and speakers.
