Microsoft unveils "Scout," an always-on agent integrated into Copilot

Microsoft unveiled Scout at Build, a new always-on AI agent for Copilot.

Scout connects across Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint to automate meetings, documents, prioritization, and task execution.

The agent works across cloud, desktop, and web, aiming to handle routine workplace work more autonomously.

Microsoft is rolling it out first in private preview to select customers, with plans to expand a broader Autopilot-style agent lineup inside Copilot.
