Angry Researcher Publishes BlueHammer Windows 0-Day Exploit

A security researcher published BlueHammer, a Windows zero-day exploit, by posting code to GitHub.

The vulnerability currently has no CVE and the proof-of-concept code reportedly contains bugs.

The exploit can allow a local attacker to gain SYSTEM privileges via local privilege escalation.

Microsoft said it investigates reported security issues and supports coordinated vulnerability disclosure.
