iPhone Fold dimensions: Here’s how the foldable iPhone sizes up next to the iPhone 18 Pro

When closed the Fold has a passport‑like shape—wider and shorter than Apple’s slab Pro iPhones.

Unfolded, the main display measures about 7.8 inches diagonally; a visible hinge crosses the inner panel.

Because of its aspect ratio and screen surface area, the Fold’s usable display is closer to an iPad mini than a Pro Max.

Apple’s design favors the unfolded experience: Face ID is not shown and Touch ID will be in the side button; folded thickness ≈9.5 mm, unfolded <5 mm.
