Anthropic Expands Partnership with Google and Broadcom to Secure 3.5GW of Next-Gen TPU AI Infrastructure

Anthropic announced an expanded partnership with Google and Broadcom to secure next-generation TPU capacity.

Through Broadcom, Anthropic will access about 3.5GW of next-gen TPU-based compute, with TPUs scheduled to start in 2027.

Most new compute infrastructure will be installed in the U.S., and Broadcom will supply AI-rack components through 2031.

Anthropic said annualized revenue topped $30 billion and enterprise customers paying over $1M annually doubled to over 1,000.

Anthropic said it will continue using multiple cloud services and hardware (BigQuery, Cloud Run, AlloyDB, AWS Trainium, NVIDIA GPUs) rather than relying on a single vendor.
