iOS 26’s new Phone app won me over with two excellent features

Apple redesigned the iPhone Phone app in iOS 26.

New opt-in features include Call Screening and Hold Assist.

Call Screening helps manage unknown callers and reduce spam interruptions.

Hold Assist can detect hold music and save users from waiting on the line.

Users can also switch back to the old Phone app design in Settings.
