Marathon Player Goes Out Of Bounds To Grief Team Right After It Kills Raid Boss And Bungie’s Not Happy

Bungie said it will patch a Marathon out-of-bounds exploit in Cryo Archive after a streamer used it to ambush a team.

The player clipped outside the map, waited in the boss loot room, and wiped the squad right after they beat The Compiler.

Bungie also said it will review sanctions for intentional griefing and compensate the affected players.

The incident highlights how map bugs can undermine fairness in a PvP extraction game and fuel calls for faster fixes.
