SAP launches the autonomous enterprise at Sapphire 2026

At Sapphire 2026, SAP unveiled its Autonomous Enterprise vision to make AI agents run core business processes with human oversight.

SAP merged its key data and AI layers into a single foundation, bringing together Business AI, Business Technology Platform, Business Data Cloud, and Knowledge Graph.

The company introduced Joule Studio for building agents, plus an Autonomous Suite with 50+ assistants and 200+ agents.

SAP also launched Industry AI scenarios to automate workflows for specific sectors, including financial close use cases.
