Standing Commissioner of the Telecommunications Dispute Mediation Committee to Be Chosen Through Public Nominations

South Korea will use a public nomination process to select four standing commissioners for the Telecommunications Dispute Mediation Committee.

The Broadcasting and Media Communications Commission and the Ministry of Personnel Management will accept nominations until the 26th.

Appointments are planned for next month after candidates are screened.

The move is meant to bring in experienced experts and strengthen trust in telecom dispute resolution as complaints rise with digital service use.
