One city, 10 cars and no driver at the wheel: Europe’s first autonomous taxi is in Zagreb and it has Chinese brains

Verne has launched Europe’s first public commercial robotaxi service in Zagreb.

The fleet starts with 10 electric BAIC Arcfox Alpha T5 vehicles using Pony.ai’s self-driving system.

Service covers central Zagreb, Novi Zagreb, and the airport during daytime hours.

The launch is a major test case for autonomous-vehicle regulation and deployment in Europe.
