Box launches Box Agent to process enterprise documents via natural language

Box launched Box Agent for Enterprise Plus and Enterprise Advanced customers to process corporate documents via natural language.

Box Agent uses models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google and operates within Box's existing permission system.

The agent can search files, extract key data, and produce outputs as Box Notes, Word, PDF, Excel, or PowerPoint.

Box AI Studio was updated so admins can build custom agents, and Enterprise Advanced includes Pro Mode and Expanded Mode.
