“If we win, I’ll get the coach’s face tattooed on me”... Spain’s Cucurella keeps his World Cup victory promise

Spain defender Marc Cucurella kept his World Cup promise by revealing a tattoo of coach Luis de la Fuente’s face and the trophy on his left arm.

Before the tournament, he vowed to get the tattoo if Spain won; after the victory, he shared photos and video on social media.

Spain beat Argentina 1-0 in the final to claim their first title in 16 years.

Cucurella started all eight matches and was a key part of Spain’s championship run.
