HomeKit Weekly: A look into the first Matter-certified camera from Aqara

Aqara launched the Camera Hub G350, its first Matter-certified camera and smart home hub in one device.

The dual-lens 4K pan-and-tilt camera also acts as a Zigbee hub, Matter controller/bridge, and Thread Border Router.

It supports HomeKit Secure Video at 1080p, plus local storage, NAS, RTSP, local AI tracking, and a physical lens shield.

Apple Home does not yet support Matter 1.5 cameras, so video setup currently relies on the standard HomeKit integration.
