Show HN: I made open source, zero power PCB hackathon badges

A developer designed open-source, zero-power hackathon badges for a Singapore game jam using e-ink displays.

The badges used an RP2040-based architecture and an ST25 passive NFC tag to allow optional NFC links.

About 100 badges were manufactured; designs exposed 20 GPIO pins and were ticket-shaped with community art.

Post-production lessons included making extra units and accounting for PCB component height to avoid breakage.
