Google Photos wants to stop you from accidentally ruining your snaps

Google Photos removed gesture-based shortcuts that previously launched editing tools from a tap or scribble.

The app now requires users to open the editor and select tools like Move, Erase, and Reimagine from a menu before editing.

The change aims to reduce accidental edits and improve stability by limiting background tool triggers.
