DJI’s latest power station is proof that good things come in mini packages

DJI has introduced the Power 1000 Mini, a 1kWh portable power station in a much smaller form factor.

It adds a built-in USB-C cable, remote-controlled light, solar MPPT charging, and alternator fast-charging.

The review says it works well for camping and van life, but the 800W continuous AC output and 100W USB-C limit are tradeoffs.

Dongle-based use and unclear US availability may hold it back despite its compact, travel-friendly design.
