Windows 11 to Get Major Boost in App & UI Performance by Pushing CPUs to Their Max Frequency

Microsoft is reportedly testing a Windows 11 feature called Low Latency Profile that briefly boosts CPU clocks when launching apps or opening system UI.

Early tests suggest faster launches for Microsoft apps and elements like the Start menu and context menus, with some third-party apps also seeing gains.

The boost lasts only 1–3 seconds, so it may improve responsiveness without a major hit to battery life or heat.

Microsoft has not announced a public release date yet.
