Intel 18A-P and 14A gain Cadence’s full EDA toolchain, tightening the ecosystem push to challenge TSMC’s foundry lead

Cadence has certified its full AI-driven EDA toolchain and packaging flows for Intel 18A-P and 14A.

The latest Intel Foundry PDKs now validate Cadence’s digital and custom reference flows, tools, and solutions.

Support includes EMIB and EMIB-T packaging, plus silicon-validated IP and signoff-ready workflows for AI, HPC, and mobile designs.

The certification gives chip designers a validated path to use Cadence IP and tools on Intel’s newest nodes.

It also strengthens Intel Foundry’s push to win advanced-node customers and compete more effectively with TSMC.
